Prioritize Your Relationship With Yourself

The relationship you have with yourself is the most important relationship in your life.

It always has been and always will be.

At the core of living and leading authentically is the understanding that the quality of your life experience is only as good as your relationship with yourself.

So, it stands to reason that the more you prioritize YOU, the better you’ll attract.

The quality of every other aspect of your life – your relationship with others, your business, literally every aspect, is directly impacted by how you show up for yourself.

Take a moment right now and get honest with yourself about if you prioritize your relationship with yourself.

How are you feeling about yourself?  How are you feeling about the various areas of your life?

If there are areas of your life that aren’t where you want them to be, fret not.  The great news is that you can always do something about it.

Unlimited upside in any area of life is available when you’re willing to step in and do the work.

And the answer is always the same: work on raising your vibration.

Think about it this way:  You’re always broadcasting a signal based on how you feel on the inside, and the world reflects that back to you.

If you aren’t feeling confident, the world will reflect more experiences to affirm a lack of confidence.

On the contrary, if you’re showing up feeling empowered and aligned, the world will reflect that to you by matching you.

Sometimes, there’s a mismatch between what people say and how they truly feel.  You can’t fool the universe – energy and vibration rule every single time.

It’s an inside job.  It’s always an inside job.

You have to go first.  And the rub is that you have to figure out a way to feel better now, even in the absence of getting what you want, and hold that feeling for long enough for momentum to kick in.  That’s when changes really start to happen.

I mean, is it any wonder that people are on this wild goose chase, waiting for a reason to feel good before they give themselves permission to feel good?

It’s the other way around – you’ve got to find the feeling, and then you’ll get the condition.

When you prioritize your relationship with yourself and do it consistently, you’ll discover that unlimited upside in any area of life is available to you.

And the cool thing is the more you invest in yourself, the more you’ll have to give to others.

So, what does prioritizing yourself look like?  It requires a holistic approach (mind, body, spirit) and takes many forms.  It looks like exercising.  Eating clean.  Sleeping well.  Saying yes to what moves you forward.  Saying no to what drains you.  Doing more of what makes you feel alive.  Avoiding toxic people.  Less rushing.  More savoring.  Having high standards.  Knowing your boundaries.  Communicating your wants and needs.  Creating.  Laughing.  Doing things that bring you joy.  Trusting your intuition.  Pay attention to how you feel.

There are many ways to prioritize yourself, and everyone’s recipe looks different.  But regardless of how you choose to do it, you will always experience the benefits.
