The New You in 2022

This isn’t your typical “what are your new year’s resolutions?” type of message.

As you’ve probably gathered by now, my approach is anything but traditional.

It’s pretty clear that the time-honored traditional ways of changing behaviors aren’t working.

You know the story:  New gym memberships spike in early January and regular gym-goers can’t find an open treadmill in sight; and come February, new year’s resolutions have fallen off and most people are back to their old patterns.

Why don’t the traditional ways have staying power?  I believe it’s because people jump into the action portion of the equation, without having done the internal work first.

If you don’t have your mind wired in a growth-based way, the actions you take will just feel like going through the motions.  So is it any wonder why new behaviors don’t stick?

I believe that one of the best-kept secrets (that should be shared freely, btw) is that we create our reality through our emotions.

The question I ask most frequently in my coaching sessions is “how do you feel?”

It’s usually a little jarring at first because people aren’t accustomed to navigating their way through life using their emotions.

And studies have shown that EQ (emotional quotient) is more closely tied to success than IQ (intelligence quotient).

Without fully understanding ourselves and the way in which we relate to others, we pinch ourselves off from experiencing the depth and richness of life in all aspects– personal and professional.

So I’ll ask you… are you investing in your EQ?  What if you made 2022 the year of the EQ?  What type of growth do you think you’d experience?

The most important relationship you’ll ever have is the one between YOU and YOU.

Every aspect of your life stems from the relationship you have with yourself, and is directly related to the investments you’ve made in yourself.

You have to identify where you’re getting in your own way, and to show up with a radical level of self-honesty, vulnerability, accountability, and open-mindedness.

Growth work is hard, but it’s worth every ounce of the effort.

So I’ll ask you… are you intentionally scheduling time for personal growth?

The key to thriving in all areas of your life: business, relationships, parenting, health, finances is by doing the deep growth work from the inside.

I’m a firm believer that if you don’t invest in yourself now, you’re setting yourself up to pay later.  Pay in the way of stress, overwhelm, burnout, apathy, troubled relationships, health issues, and the list goes on.

Everything I teach I do in my own life, and I can tell you firsthand that it works every single time.

I just crunched my year-end numbers and was shocked to learn that I 10x’ed my business during the pandemic.

Sure, I made a few operational adjustments, but the lion’s share of the growth was from the internal work I did on myself.  I’m super excited to share some of my tricks of the trade so that you can experience explosiveness in your life as well.  Stay tuned for those in the newsletter I’m currently writing: “I 10x’ed my Business During the Pandemic. Here’s How.”

In a 30-minute conversation, I’ll be able to tell what stage of growth you’re in and will give you some ideas for kickstarting your growth in a way that sticks.

So what are you waiting for? Let’s get this party started, shall we?  Grab a time here

In the interim, here are four questions you can mull over to get you going:

What did I learn about myself this year?

What do I truly want?

Where am I getting in my own way?

What is stopping me from jumping into growth head-first?

Super excited for 2022.  See ya there!!
