Spirit-Inspired Leadership: Accountability

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but…

Nobody’s coming.

Nobody’s coming to tell you to prioritize yourself.

Nobody’s coming to tell you to take a break because you’re so burnt out.

Nobody’s coming to tell you to cut the one-sided relationships out of your life.

Nobody’s coming to tell you to get off the couch and drive to the gym.

You’re the one who’s gotta do it.

You have to be the one to care so much about how you feel that you do whatever the hell it takes to feel better.

There’s no getting around it – authentic leadership requires radical accountability.

Let’s talk about this from an energetic perspective.

When you’re holding yourself accountable, you’re creating consistency.

And consistency – sticking with something over a long period of time – allows momentum to build.

And that’s it right there.

It’s all about momentum.

You have to give those new ways of being time to take hold until it becomes effortless and fun.  Then you’ll start feeling so good that you can’t imagine doing life any other way.

When you’re not holding yourself accountable, you dip back into old patterns and bad habits and effectively kill all the momentum.  It creates instability, a wobble, in your vibration, you don’t see progress, and on top of all of that, you’re drained and frustrated.

When leaders first come to me, they already have certain key ingredients – they’re already highly accomplished, highly educated, and highly motivated to make an impact.

But the element I bring is teaching them how to be in sync with the laws of the universe and leverage them to really work for you.

When you learn how to incorporate these laws, you become dangerous, in the most positive sense of the word, and you’ll reach a level of impact you’ve never seen before.

Sometimes it’s hard to keep ourselves accountable all on our own.  That’s why it’s incredibly helpful to work with someone to help keep you accountable when you’re feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or just not motivated.

I’ve worked with coaches for years, building my business and doing my spiritual work, and I know with absolute certainty I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing today without all the support over the years.

Show up, and you’re already halfway there.  That’s half the battle – being open-minded and willing to try a new way.  Whenever you’re ready, I’m here.
