We are making our way through the laws of the Universe. Have you had a chance to absorb what we’ve covered so far and reflect on how these laws are operational in your own life? Have you made any different choices as a result of your new-found awareness?
So far, we have covered these six laws:
- Law of Divine Oneness
- Law of Vibration
- Law of Correspondence
- Law of Attraction
- Law of Inspired Action
- Law of Compensation
This week, we’re stacking on three more:
- Law of Cause and Effect
- Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy
- Law of Relativity
As you read through each law, think about how it plays a role in your life and how you can start using the law to work in your favor.
7.) Law of Cause and Effect
The idea of cause and effect is likely something you’ve heard of long before officially embarking on a spiritual path.
Simply put, the law of cause and effect states that every effect that occurs has a cause, or prior event, associated with it. Every event will produce an outcome.
This law gives rise to the opportunity to really up our consciousness game and help us be hyper-aware of the choices we make.
For example, let’s take something we’re familiar with — the idea of health. The choices we make on a daily basis impact whether or not we are healthy. Some examples are what we eat, our activity level, how we manage stress and our overall lifestyle. We can’t escape the choices we make forever. They all affect us, and sooner or later, that effect will catch up with us.
This idea can spawn thoughts of fear or empowerment. Allow this law to highlight the importance of making conscious choices. Empower yourself. Run every choice you have to make through the filter of “Does this move me forward? Does this feel aligned? Is this integrity with who I am? Is this in my highest good?”
The word “karma” is often associated with the law of cause and effect.
I talk about the concept of karma in my book SOAR and share this interpretation:
“The word “karma” often conjures up thoughts of a punitive, retaliatory ideology. The comments about it are common — “Karma bus,” “What goes around comes around.” These statements suggest a spirit of retaliation and revenge, precisely what the ego would want us to seek.
When we step out of our egos and into our own spirits, we can more productively view karma as an invitation from the Universe that graciously summons our willingness to learn from our experiences all day, every day. Every experience we have is a karmic lesson. When we accept the invitation, the lesson becomes an exciting opportunity to learn and grow. I view it as a brilliant mechanism the Universe has put into place to help us bring the unconscious parts of ourselves into the spotlight as it allows us to make them conscious.”
How will you choose to make more conscious choices this week?
8.) Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy
If there’s any law that has the power to get you unstuck, this is it. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy says that energy is always moving, transmuting, changing forms, and what’s more, you have the power to transmute it.
This law highlights the fluid, dynamic nature of our lives. Nothing is permanent, and nothing is stagnant. Energy is always flowing, and we can channel that energy however and wherever we choose to.
Here’s an example. You’re feeling frustrated. First, it’s important to recognize, validate and honor the feeling. It’s okay to feel frustrated. We all do from time to time.
We then need to understand that we have a choice in how we deal with that frustration. Do we stay in that place and put our energy there, fueling it with negative thoughts and find others to commiserate with? Or do we take a moment, pause, and decide how we want to feel?
Now you’re starting to tap into your power. Identifying how you want to feel is the next step. Then, decide what high-vibrational energy you will choose:
Maybe you choose a thought of appreciation;
Maybe you do something that makes you feel joyful;
Maybe you do something to relax;
Maybe you bring in extra help, or
Maybe you meditate.
This week, think about where you are feeling stuck in your life and how you can make choices to become unstuck.
9.) Law of Relativity
The meaning that we place on certain situations or events in our life comes down to perspective. We are naturally inclined to compare things to other things. But in reality, we get to assign the meaning by shifting our perspective.
For example, maybe we are feeling frustrated about our financial situation, and that may be because we are comparing it to someone else’s situation. We can shift our view of our situation by changing our perspective and choosing thoughts of appreciation.
This law encourages us to choose higher energies such as compassion, empathy, acceptance, appreciation and peace. It also reminds us to stay focused on our own spiritual journey and choose growth every day.
I would love to hear how you’ve been able to recognize how the laws we have covered so far affect your life.
I always love hearing from you, so please message me and let me know how your journey is going. As always, I am here to guide you.
