The Start of the Journey – Exploring the Laws of the Universe

Learning the laws of the universe will help take your life to the next level.  These foundational laws are operational behind the scenes, so when we understand how each law works, we can make better decisions.

Over the next couple of weeks, we’re going to dive deeper into each law, and I’m going to give you reflection questions and spiritually aligned actions that you could take to understand better how these laws work in your own life.

This week we will be talking about the following laws of the universe:

  • Law of Divine Oneness
  • Law of Vibration
  • Law of Correspondence

Law of Divine Oneness

We talk about the law of divine oneness first because all of the other laws are offshoots from this law.  You may have heard the phrase “we are all one” before;  this is it.

We are all connected through a unified energy field, called collective consciousness.  Everything we do in our lives has a ripple effect. It works its way through the collective.  For example, one small act of kindness can impact many lives, well beyond the initial act of kindness.

By embracing the truth that we are all connected, life has more meaning.  We experience the greater depth, we no longer hang out in the shallow areas of life but seek more meaning and we realize that every experience we have allows us to connect more deeply to ourselves and the world around us.  We can harness our personal power by recognizing that we are the energy of creation and we feel alive more.

Spiritually-aligned action items

What life experiences have brought more meaning to your life?

Do you feel connected to who you are?

Do you see yourself in others?

What is one small act of kindness you can do this week?

In what areas of your life can you raise your awareness?

Law of Vibration

Everything in our universe has an associated vibration or frequency. That includes everything from living beings, like people and animals, to inanimate objects and everything in between.  The food we eat.  The thoughts we think. The activities we partake in.  The people we surround ourselves with.

Start thinking about yourself and the universe in terms of vibration.  Commit to raising your frequency throughout the day by doing things to nourish your mind, body, and spirit.

We attract based on our vibration, so it’s in our best interest to raise our vibration.  In my book SOAR, I give ideas for how to raise your vibration and help you identify things to reduce or avoid.

Vibration Raisers:

  • Exercising;
  • Eating healthy foods (fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds);
  • Listening to, playing, or creating music;
  • Engaging in creative endeavors (art, sculpting, drawing, photography, dancing, singing, cooking, etc.);
  • Sleeping;
  • Meditating;
  • Yoga;
  • Using essential oils as part of a self-care regimen;
  • Laughing;
  • Learning new things,
  • and Practicing self-love.

Vibration Lowers:

  • Eating processed foods;
  • Eating junk food;
  • Consuming artificial sweeteners;
  • Consuming alcohol;
  • Doing recreational drugs;
  • Using products that contain toxic chemicals;
  • Using technology excessively;
  • Gambling;
  • Stress;
  • Anxiety;
  • Negative self-talk,
  • and Gossipping.

This week, choose a few activities that raise your vibration and give them a try.  Also, pick a few activities from the list that lowers your vibration, and work to reduce or eliminate some.

Law of Correspondence

This law has to do with the connection between our outer world and our inner world.  What is happening on a physical level is linked to what’s going on spiritually. In other words, our thoughts create the reality we perceive.

For example, if we are in a mindset of lack, only recognizing what we don’t have, we get more of that in our lives.  We will never achieve a feeling of abundance if we keep giving our time, attention, and energy to lack and limitation.

How would you describe your life?  Pay attention to the story you’re telling yourself.  Remember to choose your words carefully, because that’s how we manifest our future.

Here are a few things you can do this week:

  • Write down 10 things you appreciate about your life.
  • Write your life story in 200 words or less.
  • Reframe a negative comment into something positive.
  • Help someone else find positivity in a challenging situation.
  • Write down five soul-based virtues, and think of ways you can incorporate those into your life.  Here are a few examples:
    • Love
    • Peace
    • Joy
    • Kindness
    • Empathy
    • Compassion
    • Connection

This week, we’ve taken a deeper dive into three of the foundational laws of the universe.  I would love to hear how you incorporate those into your life, so reach out and let’s chat about how I can support you on your journey.

Have a wonderful week!
