The Last Three Universal Laws

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been taking a little trip through the laws of the Universe. Learning how the Universe works behind the scenes can be a huge game-changer in your life. We’ve covered the following nine laws and will be learning the remaining three this week.

Which of the following laws have you seen at work in your own life? How has your newfound knowledge of these laws changed the way you live? Have you made any different choices as a result of learning these laws?

  • Law of Divine Oneness
  • Law of Vibration
  • Law of Correspondence
  • Law of Attraction
  • Law of Inspired Action
  • Law of Compensation
  • Law of Cause and Effect
  • Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy
  • Law of Relativity

This week, we are exploring the last three laws:

  • Law of Polarity
  • Law of Rhythm
  • Law of Gender

As you read through each law, think about how you can apply them in your own life.

10.)  The Law of Polarity

The law of polarity says that everything in our Universe has a dual nature.

We are accustomed to thinking of things as opposite and separate. But in reality, certain things are on the same continuum and are the same. They just represent the opposite ends of the spectrum. You can be at either extreme or anywhere in between. Here are some examples from your everyday life:

  • Hot and cold
  • Happy and sad
  • Rich and poor
  • Loud and quiet
  • In and out
  • Love and fear
  • Negative and positive
  • Tall and short
  • Light and dark
  • Acceptance and resistance
  • Success and failure

Are there others that come to your mind?

It may be natural to try to avoid the unpleasant parts of life. However, experiencing them can give us a newfound appreciation for the good things in our life. For example, unless we have experienced sadness, we may not appreciate happiness to the fullest extent.

How can you apply gratitude toward every life experience, knowing that it gives rise to something greater?

The key to allowing the law of polarity to work for you is to maintain harmony and emotional composure in your life. Accept what comes and flow with the direction life is taking you. Spending time in nature, journaling, meditating, creativity and relaxing are a few of the many ways you can keep yourself grounded and centered and in a state of appreciating the human experience at great depths.

11.)  The Law of Rhythm

This law states that everything in our Universe acts like a pendulum. It swings back and forth. There is a flow of energy, and what swings left must eventually swing right. This law is what produces cycles or patterns. Think of the tide — there is a slow and steady constant rhythm.

These cycles are apparent in many areas of our life — financial markets have a rhythm, health and wellness have a rhythm, nature has a rhythm and relationships have a rhythm. In any of these aspects of our life, there are high points and there are lows. Accept that this ebb and flow is part of the process. The lows give us an opportunity to power down, relax and gear up for the next wave.

Where in your life have you noticed cycles? How can these cycles help you extend more compassion toward yourself and others?

12.)  The Law of Gender

When we hear the word gender, we often think of biological gender male and female. What this law is referring to are the divine masculine and divine feminine energies.

Every life experience allows us to learn about ourselves. As part of that, we can assess where we fall in the spectrum of masculine and feminine. We can constantly make strides and adjustments to balance the energies within us.

Key traits associated with masculine energy are logic, goal-oriented, giving, doing, controlling, providing, protecting, competition, analysis, motion, action, being more closed and forcing.

Key traits associated with feminine energy are intuition, creativity, emotion, receiving, being, focusing on the journey, nurturing, still/tranquil, sensitivity, being more open and flowing.

You may find that you have characteristics and behaviors from both the masculine and feminine energies, or you may find that you are more polarized, falling more squarely into one category over the other.

We explored the divine feminine a few weeks ago. Next week, we will be taking a deeper dive into the divine masculine.

We have reached the end of our journey through the laws of the Universe. I hope you have enjoyed learning about them and are working to incorporate new things into your life so you can allow these laws to work for you.
