Drew Beshku, a former client of mine, is now a certified life coach and founder of Blissful Life. She has over 10 years of experience in education, advising and corporate training. Her mission is to help moms.
Being a mom is a full-time job, but when you’re a working mom with dreams and goals, sometimes you can feel overwhelmed, burnt out or feel like you don’t have the time to get anything done.
Today’s podcast, as always, involves the first question: How do you live authentically everyday?
Drew mentions that being true to yourself is part of how to live authentically everyday. You have to have the courage to stand out from the crowd, you have to be able to exude courage and step out of your comfort zone.
As Drew says “be confident in your worth.”
To live authentically you have to be able to dig deep into your inner self and heart. Are you allowing yourself to be who you are? One point that Drew mentions is to let yourself care about what others think of you.
Drew’s three values – Courage, confidence and clarity.
Later in the podcast, Drew mentions that she had gone through a lot in one year that was hard to deal with. She received news about her father with a terminal disease and she had a second baby on the way. Drew worked a full-time job that was draining and says that she “couldn’t be the person [she] was.”
That’s how she developed Blissful Life, LLC.
As a full-time founder and mother of two, Drew understands the struggles of finding a balance. She works to help other moms who feel overwhelmed or unsure about their path. Further into the podcast, Drew relates that negativity causes doubts.
Her mission is to help mothers know their self-worth and push out the negativity that surrounds them. The negativity that causes doubts and stops them from achieving what they want in life.
As we reach the end of the podcast, Drew and Pamela relate that people need to have a safe space to let out their emotions. Displaying emotions is a form of expression that we release. Letting your emotions out allows yourself to dig deeper in yourself. Why do you feel that specific emotion? It allows you to move forward.
