Every Executive Needs Openness

Openness is a key aspect of authentic leadership.

And by openness, I’m not only referring to a welcoming personality, relatable nature, and being open-minded.

I’m referring to a more expansive interpretation of openness, one that has an underlying spiritual energy.

The power of the mind can only get you so far; tapping into your true capacity comes from connecting to your authentic self.

Being open energetically will create possibilities and invite opportunities that are often far greater than what we initially wanted for ourselves.

Openness includes being open to…

  • Creative solutions
  • Feedback
  • Trusting your intuition
  • New insights
  • New perspectives
  • New outcomes
  • New approaches
  • New timelines
  • New beliefs
  • Trusting yourself
  • Following your heart, despite what your head is saying
  • Trying something new

In my coaching, I share my signature methods – methods I’ve used for decades – to help you uncork your potential as a leader in your personal and professional life.

To give you a little kick-start, here are three things you can do today:

  1. Spend time in nature
A 30-minute walk outside every day is a great way to spend time.
  2. Learn how to FEEL your emotions
Whenever you feel something uncomfortable bubbling up, notice.  Allow.  Embrace.  Honor.  Sit with it.
  3. Invite guidance
Through prayer, asking the universe for help.

When you’re intentional and consistent and prioritize openness, you will start to feel more relaxed, and as you carry less stress, you naturally attract better.
