How much time do you spend each day worrying about what others are going to think, say or do as a result of your decisions, words, or actions? Do you lose sleep at night? Have you noticed an increase in your stress levels when you invest your time and effort into caring about the things you can’t control? If you answered yes to any of these, this podcast is for you!
Kira Cauley did what most people in her high school did. She graduated high school, went to college, then accepted a position as a dietician in corporate America. She was taught that if she wanted to be successful, that the salary and stability of a 9-5 corporate job was the only way to achieve it. It wasn’t until Kira realized that she wasn’t working for her passion any longer, she was working towards someone else’s, serving clients the way she was told to do, not the way she knew she was capable of doing.
Against the recommendations of her closest family and friends, Kira left her corporate job to start her own business and within the first month, she had exceeded her earnings from her previous salary position. But, that was short lived. Within a few months, Kira’s Health and Wellness business failed. She had hit rock bottom.
Knowing she had to provide for her family, Kira was determined to do what it took to get back up and start all over again. She knew she wanted to help improve the lives of others through health and holistic wellness. She knew there was a huge need as the health epidemic continued to spiral out of control. Kira was able to find herself a couch that helped her with the business strategy and some of the mindset issues she was dealing with as a result of her upbringing, her own struggles with body dysmorphia, and her fear of failing to show up perfect every single day.
If you have ever struggled with your own body image, are looking for a gratitude-based health and wellness plan for yourself or family, and/or have a passion to help people by making a difference in the lives of others through health and holistic living, join us on Tuesday, June 23 as I welcome Kira Cauley as this week’s guest speaker on my Live Authentically Podcast series.
If you’re ready to “drop the f*cks,” stop caring about what other people think, and are ready to show up as your authentic self every single day to serve, this podcast is one you won’t want to miss!
