The coronavirus pandemic has turned our day-to-day lives upside down. However, take this time to unlock your life purpose. Many of you have to adjust to working from home or suddenly become teachers as you home school your children. These are definitely difficult times as you strive to find your new rhythm to life.
During this adversity, you are in the refiner’s fire. A diamond in the making.
Here is a quotation from the article:
“I’m a firm believer that there is a silver lining in every situation, even one as complicated as the global crisis that is currently challenging us on many fronts. The unpredictability and fragility of everyday life is prompting people to examine their lives at deeper levels than ever before.”
Our true purpose in life is to leave an indelible mark on this world. Your unique gifts and talents need to be shared. And as you share your gifts and talents, you will inspire others to share theirs as well.
This time of worldwide quarantine is a perfect time to reflect on how you can unleash your life purpose. Here are five questions you can ask yourself:
1. What do you value most in life?
2. What are you passionate about?
3. What do you want to be remembered for? What is your legacy?
4. What talents, gifts, and activities do you have a natural aptitude for?
5. How can your life experiences, positive or challenging, become a gift for humanity?
Here is another quotation from the article:
“There is a way to emerge from this precarious period, fraught with fear and uncertainty, more connected than ever to the essence of who we are, with new-found clarity around who we are and why we are here…We are each on this Earth for a very specific purpose. And yes, while there are bills to be paid, households to be managed, and people to care for, the real reason we are here is to leave an indelible mark on this world. It’s called your life purpose.”
Below is an excerpt from SOAR:
“We are all sent here with a unique set of gifts and talents that are meant to be shared with the world. Sometimes these gifts are readily apparent and available and sometimes they remain dormant until a significant event in your life happens that causes you to do some serious soul-searching. I’m a firm believer that the real treasures are those that are buried deep within and require the most intense excavating to discover. We all have them, and sometimes our greatest gifts are disguised in the form of our greatest heartbreaks or challenges. Remember that you have a choice about what you do with them, and you already have everything you need to transform your pain into a gift to the world.”
If you feel overwhelmed with fear, uncertainty and doubt during this pandemic, it is understandable. Morale seems at an all-time low, but you can take this time you have to find greater purpose and depth. The road ahead is not easy and you are going through difficult times, but we discover our greatness in the midst of our most challenging experiences.
Remember, you are a diamond in the making.
Keep an open mind and heart and the universe will usher you to your life purpose.
As always, I’m praying for the health and safety of you and your loved ones.
